Tallon is a lean, high-waisted lefthander with a 6-foot-5, 195 pound frame who attacks hitters from a deceptive low slot. He throws a fastball in the 90-93 mph range and has touched 95, but the pitch has played up in college thanks to solid riding life and a flat vertical approach angle. The fastball is Tallon’s best pitch, and he has always used it with extreme usage—including around 70% usage in 2025—but he will mix in an 80-85 mph slider with glove side cutting action and very little depth as well as an occasional mid-80s changeup. Tallon is a below-average strike-thrower with a deep, plunging arm action.
