The Sooner grad student has an impressive four-pitch arsenal, which is unusual for a back-end, closer-type arm. With a mid-90’s fastball, both his curve and slider have the appropriate shape and are equal in their put-away effectiveness. Michael also mixes in a good change that off sets the strong lefthanded bat. Michael went 4-2, 2.89 with 10 saves and 95 strikeouts in 71.2 innings. He should be a fast-mover.
