Chandler Jozwiak

Jozwiak began his Texas A&M career as a swingman who made nine starts as a freshman. Since then he’s found his best fit is in the bullpen. Jozwiak was used regularly as a multi-inning reliever this year for the Aggies, and while prone to the big inning, he was generally effective. He went 2-4, 3.48 with eight saves. He allowed 2.6 walks per nine innings and struck out 11.5 per nine. Jozwiak’s pro career will go as far as his sweepy above-average slider will take him. He generated swings and misses on 21% of the sliders he threw in 2021. Jozwiak spots it well down and in to righthanders and runs it away from lefties. His 89-91 mph below-average fastball fills the zone, but it doesn’t miss bats. A two-pitch reliever with above-average command, Jozwiak could take a step forward if he adds more velocity in pro ball.
