Seagraves is a lean and lanky 6-foot-3, 170-pound righthander who showed a big velocity spike during the fall of 2023. He pitched in the 90-95 mph range at Perfect Game’s Jupiter tournament, though he is more typically in the 89-92 mph range and has been around there during the 2024 spring. In the past Seagraves has used a changeup with more consistency than any breaking stuff, though scouts note he’s made progress with his feel to spin the baseball. There’s some length to his arm action and effort and recoil in his delivery which adds reliever risk, but there’s exciting stuff to work with here. Seagraves is committed to Campbell.
