  Rowland is a big and physical righthander with a 6-foot-3, 210-pound frame, a four-pitch mix and present feel to land three of those pitches for strikes. He doesn’t offer much physical projection and his delivery is a bit on the stiffer side, but Rowland is a consistent performer who fills up the zone and looks like a relatively safe starter profile. He throws his fastball in the 90-91 mph range and has been up to 93 in the spring of 2024, and will mix in a slider around 80 mph—his best current secondary offering—a top-down curveball in the mid-70s and a low-80s changeup. Rowland needs to add more feel for the changeup to get it to the level he commands his other pitches, and he could also make strides with some delivery tweaks to unlock a bit more. He’s a Florida commit and is viewed as a solid day two sort of prospect.
