Outside of Caden Bodine at Coastal Carolina, Martinez was the best 2025 hitter not at a major college program last season. He hit .394/.471/.619 with 19 doubles, 11 home runs and 60 RBIs. Martinez had more extra-base hits (30) than strikeouts (27) and is one of the best pure hitters in the country. He has double-plus bat-to-ball skills as well as advanced feel for the barrel. Martinez has a compact, direct swing with above-average bat speed and he never sells out to get to his power. He flat out rakes and is one of the very few hitters in this class with 60-grade power and hit tools. -
