Padres Clear 40-Man Space In Minor Trade With A’s

The Padres cleared a 40-man roster spot in a minor trade with the Athletics while simultaneously acquiring the older brother of their 2011 first-round draft pick. San Diego sent lefty Andrew Werner and utility infielder Andy Parrino to Oakland for righthander Tyson Ross and minor league first baseman A.J. Kirby-Jones.
