The second in-season update of Baseball America’s 2025 MLB Draft rankings is officially here.
Our April update expands the draft rankings from 300 players to 400, featuring new names and tweaks throughout the list based on industry feedback and player performances. We’re also far enough into the season that performance data and underlying data for players—when available—is being baked into the rankings more.
You can see the updated 2025 MLB Draft rankings here.
Florida State lefthander Jamie Arnold continues to top the ranking, followed by Oklahoma high school shortstop Ethan Holliday at No. 2. Overall, the class remains wide open at the top. Deciding who is the best candidate to top the list and what the specific order of the top-tier players should be a real challenge.
Be sure to check out the complete top 400 above with accompanying scouting reports, including updated in-season reports for new additions. We’ll also be hosting a special draft chat beginning at 2 p.m. ET to answer all your questions about the new rankings.
