Zebby Matthews Impresses In MLB Debut
Twins righthander Zebby Matthews picked up the win in his first MLB appearance, holding the Royals to two runs and only one earned run on five hits. He walked no one and struck out five. Matthews didn’t get a lot of swings and misses, but he located his 95 mph fastball, 85-87 mph slider and low-90s cutter, keeping ahead of Royals hitters.
