The White Sox are in the midst of a roster makeover, and part of its next wave of pitchers will get their first tastes of the big leagues this week. Righthander Nick Nastrini was slated to make his big league debut on April 15, and Jonathan Cannon was scheduled to follow a day later. Nastrini came to Chicago in the deal that sent Joe Kelly and Lance Lynn to Los Angeles. Cannon was the club’s third-rounder, out of Georgia, in the 2022 draft. The righthander works with a five-pitch complement that includes cut, two-seam and four-seam fastballs, as well as a slider and a changeup. Nastrini and Cannon are the team’s No. 3 and No. 8 prospects, respectively.
