Tommy Troy Launches First Triple-A Home Run
While 2024 was a season to forget for Tommy Troy, 2025 has been resurgence. After hitting .286/.382/.461 over 87 games with Double-A Amarillo, Troy earned a promotion to Triple-A Reno last Saturday. Troy has impressed over three games since then, but Wednesday’s effort was his best yet. He went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs. The home run came in the top of the ninth with two on as it left that bat at just 92.6 mph to sneak over the left field fence. Troy is just a call away from the major leagues and has found his swing again in 2025.
