Tigers’ Dillon Dingler Shows Improved Approach At Plate
Triple-A Toledo catcher Dillon Dingler went 3-for-5 with two home runs and 7 RBIs on Sunday. It was yet another impressive day at the plate for a catcher who’s biggest question has long been his bat. Dingler is hitting .287/.350/.508 with 10 home runs in 50 games. Dingler has cut his strikeout rate to 20% this year after striking out 32% of the time in his stint in Triple-A last year.
