Tigers Dillon Dingler Doubles In MLB Debut
A day after catcher Carson Kelly was traded to clear a spot for him on the roster, Tigers catcher Dillon Dingler made his MLB debut. He doubled off Tanner Bibee and also drew a walk, going 1-for-3. Dingler’s bat took a step forward at Triple-A Toledo this year. He hit .202 in a late-season promotion to Toledo in 2023 and .256/.361/.478 overall that year. This year he was hitting .308/.379/.559 at the time of his promotion.
