The Butler Does It Again … And Again
Lawrence Butler racked up 123 big league at-bats in 2023, just eight shy of losing qualification as a prospect. He showed enough pop to hit four home runs but clearly needed to hone his command of the strike zone, as shown by his 35 strikeouts against just four walks. He’s had an excellent Cactus League campaign thus far, including a 2-for-3 day on Monday that included a double, a run scored, a stolen base and an RBI.
