Diamondbacks prospect Ryan Waldschmidt has had an excellent first full season as a pro after getting his feet wet last summer post-draft. He’s split the 2025 campaign between High-A Hillsboro and Double-A Amarillo. Surprisingly, he hasn’t posted big power numbers at the latter stop despite it being one of the most hitter-friendly parks in the minors. On Thursday, he changed all that. Against Corpus Christi, the Kentucky product went 3-for-5 and collected a pair of homers and four RBIs in the process. The outburst tripled his Texas League home run total.
