Royals lefthander Noah Cameron remains a miracle worker. For the sixth time in seven MLB starts, Cameron allowed one or fewer runs while working five or more innings. This time, he held the A’s scoreless for five innings, walking one and allowing four hits while striking out seven. Cameron doesn’t blow hitters away, but he has five pitches that he can spot with pinpoint precision, and his fastball, slider and cutter tunnel well together. He’s been a revelation so far, going 2-2, 1.91 with a .172 opponents average.
