According to a report from the New York Post, righthander Clayton Beeter has made the Yankees’ Opening Day roster. Beeter, who checks in at No. 16 on his team’s current Top 30 list, was acquired from the Dodgers in the deal that sent Joey Gallo to Los Angeles in 2022, has been excellent in the Grapefruit League this spring. The 2020 supplemental second rounder punched out 17 in as many innings while issuing six walks. When he debuts, Beeter will be the third member of the Dodgers’ 2020 draft class to make the big leagues, joining righties Bobby Miller and Gavin Stone.
