Triple-A Durham outfielder Tristan Peters is not known as a power hitter. His career high in home runs is 12, and he came into Sunday having hit three in 55 games. But on Sunday, he was a slugger. Peters went 4-for-5 with a pair of home runs and a pair of doubles in Durham’s 10-5 win over Memphis. Peters was opportunistic with his power. Both of his home runs had 96.5 mph exit velocities. One was yanked down the line, clearing the right field fence by a few feet while the longer one traveled 373 feet to right field.
