Rangers’ Winston Santos Out With Back Injury
Rangers general manager Ross Fenstermaker said righthander Winston Santos—the organization’s No. 5 prospect—will be out 8-10 weeks with a stress reaction in his back, according to a report from Shawn McFarland of the Dallas Morning News. Santos, 23, has an 11-2 K-BB mark and a 3.18 ERA over 5.2 innings through his first two starts this season for Double-A Frisco.
