Rangers’ Leiter Posts Another Solid Outing
Triple-A Round Rock righthander Jack Leiter (Rangers) has shown improved control early in the 2024 season. That as apparent again on Friday night. Leiter struck out 10 and walked no one in six innings of work. As is often the case for Leiter, home runs were his nemesis, as they led to all three runs he gave up. Andy Pages squared up a Leiter fastball to start the game, and Leiter gave up back-to-back solo home runs to begin the second inning.
