Rangers rookie left fielder Evan Carter will see a specialist to evaluate lingering back soreness. The 21-year-old hasn’t started in nearly a week and was 10-for-46 (.217) with four walks and 15 strikeouts in his last 15 games. A stress fracture in Carter’s back limited him to 32 games for Low-A Down East in 2021, his pro debut season after the Rangers drafted him in the second round in 2020.
