Konnor Griffin, the No. 1 prospect in baseball, came into Friday’s game homerless in his first eight Double-A games. It wasn’t as if Griffin wasn’t hitting: he was hitting .310/.389/.345 for Altoona.

But that power outage? It’s over. Griffin hit a pair of home runs against Harrisburg in a 14-3 laugher. Griffin now has 18 home runs in 110 games this year. He’s two home runs away from a 20-60 season, as he already has 64 stolen bases.
