Nationals Calling Up Brady House
Brady House, the No. 98 prospect in baseball, is headed to the big leagues. The Washington Post’s Andrew Golden reports the club plans to call up House and recall Daylen Lile after optioning Robert Hassell III and Jose Tena to Triple-A as the Nationals attempt to halt an eight-game losing streak. House has been having an excellent bounceback season in a return to Triple-A Rochester. He hit .250/.280/.375 at Rochester last year, but this year he is hitting .304/.353/.519 with significantly improved power. He hit six home runs in 54 Triple-A games last year and a career-high 19 in 129 games overall. This year, he has 13 home runs in 65 games. House was the Nationals’ 2021 first-round pick.
