Matt Shaw Picks Up 7 RBIs, Walk-Off Home Run At Premier 12
Cubs infielder Matt Shaw went 4-for-5 with a home run and 7 RBIs as Team USA beat the Netherlands 12-2 in Team USA’s second game of the Premier 12 tournament. Shaw also doubled and stole a base, but it was his three-run home run that was the big blow, as it trigged the run rule in the eighth inning. Shaw had gone 3-for-3 in Team USA’s opening game loss to Puerto Rico, so he’s now 7-for-8 overall.
