Marlins’ Luis Cova Goes Deep Twice In Season Debut
Marlins 18-year-old center fielder Luis Cova homered twice in his June 2 season debut in the Dominican Summer League. The home runs were part of a 4-for-6 day that also included a pair of singles, a walk and two strikeouts. Cova entered the season ranked as Miami’s top international prospect.
