Phillies righthander George Klassen emerged this spring as a name to watch heading into the regular season. So far, he’s continued to be worth watching. The Minnesota alum on Thursday once again stifled the opposition by striking out seven with just an unearned run on his ledger—the first run of any kind he’s allowed this season. He’s permitted just five hits and four walks while striking out 24 this year.
