Juaron Watts-Brown Strikes Out Nine In Quality Start
The Blue Jays’ 2023 third-round pick, Juaron Watts-Brown continued his strong month of June on Wednesday. The righthander tossed six innings, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out nine. Watts-Brown sat 93-94 mph, touching 95 mph at peak mixing a slider, cutter, changeup and curveball. Watts-Brown looks ready for a potential promotion to High-A Vancouver in the next few weeks.
