Josue Briceño Hits AFL-Leading Ninth Home Run
Josue Briceño is dominating the Arizona Fall League. On Monday, the Tigers slugger with the powerful lefthanded swing blasted his ninth home run of the fall. Briceño went 2-for-3 on the day with two RBIs and a walk. Briceño now leads the AFL in home runs, batting average, RBI, slugging, OPS and hits. It’s been quite the display for Briceño in AFL who has shown his advanced combination of bat-to-ball skills and power. Briceno is likely to move off of catcher to first base, but has the plate skills and power to profile at first base long term.
