Jesus Made, Luis Peña Make Early Impact With New Club
Infielders Jesus Made and Luis Peña, the two best Brewers prospects still in the minor leagues, were promoted from Low-A Carolina to High-A Wisconsin after last week’s action, and it didn’t take them long to make some noise with their new club. Peña got the ball rolling early by homering in his first at-bat as a Timber Rattler. The blast was his seventh of the season and came as part of a 1-for-4 day that also included a walk. Made got on the board later, lashing a triple for his first High-A hit. He went 1-for-5 with a run and three strikeouts.
