While their system might not be the deepest in the sport, the Nationals’ top three prospects—Dylan Crews, James Wood and Brady House—form an enviable trio. Crews broke out of his early skid in a big way in his game at Double-A, and Wood continued his excellent start one level up. The massive outfielder, who came over from the Padres in the trade that sent Juan Soto to San Diego, doubled and scored twice apiece in Rochester’s loss to Buffalo. For the season, Wood is 9-for-25 with five doubles.
