Henry Bolte Continues Scorching Stretch
All May long, Athletics prospect Henry Bolte has gone … wait for it … nuts. The stretch continued on Tuesday, when he put a hex on Frisco’s pitchers by collecting three hits and finishing a triple short of the cycle. The double and home run were Bolte’s seventh and six, respectively, of the season. In May, Bolte is hitting .364/.476/.667 with five doubles, three triples and three home runs. A strikeout rate hovering around 30% for the month still is concerning, but the contact he does make often results in impact.
