Rockies righthander Chase Dollander found out on Saturday that he wouldn’t be making the club’s Opening Day roster and will head to Triple-A instead. On Sunday, he had his second rough start of the spring, as he allowed six runs (five earned) on six hits in 3.1 innings. Dollander gave up a solo home run to Jackson Chourio, a two-run home run to Vinny Capra and a triple to Christian Yelich. Dollander finished his spring with a 2-3, 7.13 record. Dollander ran hot and cold. He was quickly knocked out of a March 8 start (1.2 innings, 5 runs, 4 walks) and gave up four runs and two home runs in three innings against the D-Backs on March 1. But he also had three starts where excelled, striking out 13 in 9.2 innings with just six hits, four walks and one run allowed.
