Carson Williams Connects On 20th Home Run
Top Rays prospect Carson Williams has plenty of traits that could one day make him a very valuable player. One of those aspects is his power, which when combined with his stellar glovework should lead to the accumulation of plenty of WAR once he reaches the big leagues. He reached a milestone on Thursday when he crushed his 20th home run of the season.
In doing so, he repeated the feat he achieved last year and joined an interesting group for shortstops 21 years or younger with 20 or more home runs in a season spent solely at the upper levels of the minor leagues.
