Carson Williams Breaks Out Of Brief Slump
In his two MLB games sandwiching his Spring Breakout game, Rays shortstop Carson Williams went 0-for-7 with five strikeouts. But Williams put that mini-slump behind him on Sunday, going 2-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base. Williams is now hitting .281/.343/.406. Williams is expected to begin the season at Triple-A Durham after a very solid season for Double-A Montgomery in 2024.
