Cardinals Promote Cooper Hjerpe to Double-A
After a rough 2023 season, lefthander Cooper Hjerpe has rebounded in 2024. Back at High-A Peoria, the Oregon State alum went 0-3, 3.35 with 56 strikeouts in 37.2 innings. His walks are still a bit high, however, with 20 allowed (or 4.8 per nine innings) during that span.
