All summer long, Cleveland lefthander Jacob Bresnahan has been one of the most dominant pitchers in the Arizona Complex League. The southpaw, whom the Guardians selected out of high school in Washington in 2023, has rung up a league-best 59 hitters. He buttressed his claim to the top spot with his outing on Monday, when he fanned three Padres prospects over five sparkling frames. He allowed five hits and a run (unearned) while walking one.
