Basallo Hits, Catches In Big Day At Bowie
Beyond anything he did at the plate, the most important part of Samuel Basallo’s day came when he got behind it. Tuesday’s game was the first Basallo had caught all season after suffering a stress fracture that had limited him to DH and first base all year. Beyond catching all nine innings, Basallo went 2-for-5 with a double and his fourth home run of the season.
