Arjun Nimmala entered the season as the second-youngest player in the High-A Northwest League. Yet the 19-year-old Blue Jays prospect already looks like one of the most dangerous hitters on the circuit. The 2023 first-round pick launched his sixth home run of the season on Thursday for Vancouver, putting him atop the Northwest League home run leaderboard. Nimmala, who made history as the highest-drafted first-generation Indian-American, has been on a tear lately, going deep in four of his last six games while driving in 10 runs during that stretch.
