Kevin Padlo, 3B, Triple-A Tacoma (Mariners) — Padlo entered the season as the Rays No. 20 prospect and made his major league debut this year with Tampa Bay, but the Rays placed him on waivers and he was claimed by the Mariners on Aug. 19. Padlo has torn the cover off the ball since joining his new organization, including going 4 for 5 with two doubles, a home run, three RBIs and three runs scored in Triple-A Tacoma’s 9-7 win over Reno on Monday. Padlo is now 14 for 33 (.424) with four home runs in nine games for the Rainiers and has nine walks against only five strikeouts.

Seth Beer, 1B, Triple-A Reno (D-backs) — Beer had his best month of the season in August (.310/.398/.512) and has carried it into the early part of September. The D-backs No. 17 prospect went 3 for 3 with two doubles in Reno’s 9-7 loss to Tacoma. It was Beer’s 10th multi-hit game in his last 26 starts and gave him 32 doubles on the year, second in Triple-A West.

Cristian Santana, 3B, Triple-A Oklahoma City (Dodgers) — Santana keeps producing without much fanfare, which has been the story of his whole career. The 24-year-old Dominican went 3 for 5 with a double, a home run and three runs scored in Triple-A Oklahoma City’s 12-5 win over Albuquerque on Monday. The performance raised Santana’s season slash line to .303/.326/.433 as an age-appropriate player who plays his home games in one of the few pitcher-friendly parks in Triple-A West. Combined with a cannon for an arm and the ability to play both corner infield spots, Santana keeps providing reminders he shouldn’t be forgotten as a prospect in a deep Dodgers system.

Peter Solomon, RHP, Triple-A Sugar Land (Astros) — Solomon continued his excellent season on Monday, pitching six innings with one run allowed to improve to 8-0, 4.36 on the year. Carrying an undefeated record into September in the most hitter-friendly league in the minors is impressive enough, and Solomon has done it while ranking second in the league in ERA and first in strikeouts (107).
