Will Smith, C, Dodgers. Smith had a double and homered for Triple-A Oklahoma City. Smith has now homered in five straight games, and has a six game hit streak as well. The Dodgers’ No. 5 prospect is now batting .292/.400/.602 with 25 extra-base hits in 171 at-bats.

Beau Burrows, RHP, Tigers. Burrows tossed four scoreless innings for high Class A Lakeland. The righthander allowed just one hit and two walks while collecting five strikeouts in his return to the mound after spending time on the IL with shoulder inflammation. Detroit’s No. 6 prospect will look to build innings before making his return back to the upper minors.

Dustin May, RHP, Dodgers. May allowed three earned runs across seven innings for Double-A Tulsa. The righthander worked around seven hits without allowing a walk and struck out five. The Dodgers’ No. 4 prospect went seven innings for the first time this season, and has gone at least six innings in three of his last four outings.

Ben Braymer, LHP, Nationals. Washington’s No. 20 prospect fired five innings while allowing just one run for Double-A Harrisburg. The lefthander had some traffic on the bases, but worked around five hits and two walks to make it through his five frames. It was the first time Braymer threw fewer than 90 pitches in an outing since the middle of April, and has allowed just one earned run across his last two starts.

Abraham Toro, 3B, Astros. Toro had three hits in four at-bats for Double-A Corpus Christi. He had a single and two doubles, collecting two RBIs and coming around to score once. The Astros’ No. 16 prospect has seen more success in his second go-around against Texas League pitching, slashing .295/.393/.490 with 23 extra-base hits in 241 at-bats.

Ethan Hankins, RHP, Indians. Hankins tossed four hitless innings for short-season Mahoning Valley. The righthander just walked one batter while striking out four. He is starting out his season with Mahoning Valley after making two appearances last season at the Rookie-level Arizona League.
