Arizona Diamondbacks

—No. 9 prospect Pavin Smith tallied three hits for the first time in his young career, singling three times against the Reds. The 25-year-old first baseman/outfielder is 12-for-42 (.286) with a home run and five RBIs in 14 games.

—Not only did No. 26 prospect J.B. Bukauskas make his first career appearance on the mound, but he also drew a six-pitch walk in the eighth inning and later came around to score the go-ahead run before the game was suspended. The 2017 first-rounder from North Carolina faced one batter and induced a flyout.

Boston Red Sox

—No. 3 prospect Bobby Dalbec lugged around the bases for his first career triple against the Blue Jays, crushing a curveball off the bat at 101.3 mph to center field. The 25-year-old corner infielder has struggled thus far after an impressive debut in 2020, but is 5-for-11 in his last four games.

Houston Astros

—No. 1 prospect Luis Garcia picked up the loss despite pitching well in his second start this season, striking out six batters, walking three and allowing two runs on three hits in 5.2 innings against the Rockies. The 24-year-old righthander mostly relied on his fastball, which averaged 92.2 mph, and induced 14 swings and misses, including five with his slider.

Los Angeles Dodgers

—No. 16 prospect Victor Gonzalez against the Mariners made his eighth appearance this season, striking out one and walking one in a scoreless inning while averaging 96.8 mph on his fastball. He’s struck out four, allowed three hits and walked three in six innings while giving up one run.

Philadelphia Phillies

—One day after collecting his first hit in his major league debut, No. 10 prospect Nick Maton drove in a run on a double that left the bat at 108.8 mph in the second inning against the Giants. The 24-year-old middle infielder impressed officials at the alternate training site in 2020, showing improved pitch recognition skills, and received an early-season promotion despite appearing in just 21 games at Double-A Reading in 2019.

—No. 13 prospect Mickey Moniak singled in three at-bats and saved an extra-base hit in the first inning with an outstanding diving catch on the warning track in center field.

St. Louis Cardinals

—No. 1 prospect Dylan Carlson crushed his second triple of the season, lining it to center field off the bat at 102.7 mph to score a run against the Nationals. The 22-year-old outfielder is second on the team in RBIs (11), to go along with three home runs and a .259/.369/.556 slash line in 54 at-bats.

Tampa Bay Rays

—No. 2 prospect Randy Arozarena tallied three hits, all singles, for the second time this season against the Royals. The 26-year-old outfielder has struggled at the plate in 2021, with 24 strikeouts compared to just four walks in 67 at-bats and a .269/.329/.388 slash line.

—After making his long-awaited major league debut with a scoreless two-inning, two-strikeout outing against the Yankees on April 11, No. 17 prospect Brent Honeywell Jr. allowed a run on two hits and two walks in 1.1 innings. The 26-year-old righthander averaged 93.2 mph on his fastball while mixing in his plus changeup and above-average cutter.
