Below is the average fastball velocity for every prospect ranked inside the 2025 Top 100 Prospects.

There are three prospects that did not throw a pitch in an affiliated game in 2024. One of those pitches is Japanese superstar and recent Dodgers signing Roki Sasaki, the other two are the Phillies’ Andrew Painter and Reds 2024 first round pick Chase Burns.

The velocity listed for Sasaki is from his 2024 NPB data, while Painter’s data is from Hawkeye devices and our own in person readings from the Arizona Fall League. Finally, Burns’ listed velocity is from all starts in front of Trackman devices during the 2024 NCAA season with Wake Forest.
