Athletics Area Code Games Roster

The Athletics unveiled their 2016 team to represent Northern California at the Area Code Baseball Games in Long Beach, Calif. on Aug. 6-10. Last year’s roster included top prospects in Matt Manning (Tigers), Dylan Carlson (Cardinals) and Jared Horn (Cal Berkeley).

While 2017 is seen as a bit of a down year in NorCal, there are players of interest who could establish themselves on the national scene with strong showings in Long Beach. Griffin McGarry, Jamal O’Guinn and Troy Claunch are a few to watch. Darren Baker is the son of Nationals manager Dusty Baker.
