Arizona Fall League Prospect Report — October 7, 2019

Tyler Stephenson, C, Reds. Stephenson has continued his hot hitting for Glendale. He had a single and two doubles while driving in a run and scoring once as well. Stephenson leads his team in OPS (1.106) and has been difficult to strike out, fanning just three times across 29 at-bats.

Alec Bohm, 3B, Phillies. Bohm had three hits in five at-bats for Scottsdale on Sunday. The third baseman collected two singles and a double while driving in a run as well. Bohm is hitting .390/.409/.463 through his first 10 games in the Arizona Fall League. It’s not surprising that he has hit well in the Arizona Fall League as he adapted nicely in his first stint against pitching in the upper minors this year.

Nick Neidert, RHP, Marlins. Neidert tossed 5 1/3 scoreless innings for Salt River. The righthander allowed just two hits and struck out five batters, needing 65 pitches before making his exit. Neidert has posted excellent control numbers for Salt River, walking just two batters in his 16 2/3 innings thus far.

Logan Warmoth, LF, Jays. Warmoth had two base knocks in four at-bats for Glendale. He also drew a walk and came around to score once. Originally drafted as a shortstop, Warmoth has already appeared at second and third as well as the outfield for the Scorpions.
