With the MLB international signing period opening today, teams can officially begin to sign players in their 2025 class.

For Baseball America subscribers, we have scouting reports and player notes on the classes for all 30 teams, providing information on the big names to know in each class, as well as deeper cut players to watch.

Arizona’s biggest signing this year is Elian De La Cruz, an outfielder from the Dominican Republic. Cruz is a 6-foot, 175-pound righthanded hitter with fast bat speed. Some scouts had concerns about swing-and-miss, but those highest on him saw a player with good hand-eye coordination who performed well in games. He’s a plus runner who should get a chance to develop in center field, though depending how big he gets, he could end up in a corner.

Ronny Suarez is an athletic outfielder from Venezuela with a mix of power and speed. He’s a plus runner who can drive the ball with impact from the right side of the plate in a power-over-hit offensive profile. He has the speed and athleticism for center field, though if he outgrows the position he has the arm strength to slot in right field. Mayki De La Rosa ($500,000) is a Dominican center fielder from an athletic family with two younger brothers who are prominent players in future signing classes. He has the athleticism and tools to potentially stick in center field with plus speed and a strong arm to go with a compact swing with potential average power from the right side as he fills out his 6-foot, 165-pound frame.

Venezuelan shortstop Eybert Sanchez has been an up-arrow player. He’s a plus runner with good hands, body control and defensive instincts with an average arm, giving him a chance to be an above-average fielder. He’s a 6-foot lefthanded hitter with a sound offensive approach for his age and good hand-eye coordination to make frequent contact with gap power. Jose Pitre from Venezuela is a plus runner with an average arm from center field. There’s a chance he could outgrow center and move to right field depending on his physical development, but he has a good mix of speed, athleticism and hitting ability from the left side.
