With the high school baseball season underway in parts of the country, Baseball America presents expanded rankings for the top 200 players in the 2026 class.

You can see the updated 2026 rankings here.

The class of 2026 is shaping up to be the strongest since 2023, a loaded MLB Draft class that included outfielders Max Clark, Walker Jenkins and Bryce Eldridge, shortstops Colt Emerson, Kevin McGonigle and Aidan Miller and lefthander Thomas White, among others.

The 2026 class has a good blend of both potential impact talent and depth. The shortstops at the front of the class stand out—five of the top 10 players are shortstops—headlined by Grady Emerson and Jacob Lombard, both of whom have the look of potential early first-round picks in the 2026 draft.

Emerson is a Texas commit and part of a loaded Longhorns recruiting class that has 13 commitments among the top 200, including four of the top 15 players. Tennessee leads the way with 17 commits ranked among the top 200, while Vanderbilt is building a loaded recruiting class that features seven of the top 50 players.
