With the 2025 Major League Baseball season getting into full swing this week, BA staffers took a stab at predicting how the campaign will turn out.

Below, you’ll find our predicted order of finish in the National League, as well as who we believe the major NL award winners will be this season.

NL Central

1. Chicago Cubs

NL Wild Cards

1. Philadelphia Phillies
2. New York Mets
3. Arizona Diamondbacks

NL Pennant: The Dodgers led the way with five votes among nine overall BA staffers, and it’s worth noting five staffers also predicted Los Angeles would win the World Series. The Braves, Brewers, D-backs and Phillies each received one vote as well.
