2021 High School Baseball Rankings: Top 50 Teams In The Country

Baseball America’s High School team rankings are selected through a poll of representatives from the National High School Baseball Coaches Association (NHSBCA). The country is split into eight different regions, with region chairs nominating teams from their geographic areas for consideration for the rankings nationwide.

Our final high school team rankings are here and for this edition we expand to the top 50 teams in the country.

Checking in at the top spot for the last ranking of the 2021 season is Madison (Miss.) Central High, which finished with a 32-2 record and won Mississippi's highest classification (6A) state championship, topping Northwest Rankin High (Brandon, Miss.).

Madison Central's state championship culminates a season where the team outscored its opponents 422 to 64 and went undefeated in league play.

The Southeast dominates the top of the final high school team rankings, with four of the top five teams coming from that region of the country, as well as six of the top 10.

Barbe High in Lake Charles, La., claims the No. 2 spot after winning its state championship, while Stoneman Douglas High in Parkland, Fla., checks in at No. 3 and also won its state championship.

State champions are signified with asterisks (*) in the chart below.
