Baseball America’s Top 30 Colorado Rockies Prospects entering 2025 are here exclusively for subscribers. The list includes updated scouting reports, BA grades and tool grade projections every player.

Inevitably, there are players every year who barely miss the cut when we narrow down the list. These players are all worth monitoring for various reasons and it’s likely some will either reach the big leagues in 2025 or enjoy breakout seasons lower in the minors. Last year’s list, for example, features several players who now rank prominently in Colorado’s Top 30.

Here are next 10 players to know in the Rockies system beyond their Top 30. You can find the complete index of players who just missed their teams’ respective lists here.

31. Sebastian Blanco, SS. A 2025 international signing, Blanco impressed scouts in Venezuela for his skill set across the board and baseball instincts. He has a short, quick swing from the right side, makes frequent contact and stays through the middle of the field.

32. Kamuel Villar, SS. Villar signed for $750,000 out of the Dominican Republic on Jan. 15, 2025. He’s a lefthanded hitter with a short, direct swing and good bat-to-ball skills with the strength projection remaining in his lean 6-foot frame to add to his alleys power.

33. Marcos Herrera, RHP. After two seasons in the Dominican Summer League, Herrera came stateside in 2024. He made 12 appearances in the Arizona Complex League showing a mid-90s fastball, a low-80s curveball and a changeup.

34. Luis Peralta, LHP. The Rockies acquired Peralta from the Pirates for lefthander Jalen Beeks before the 2024 trade deadline. Peralta debuted for the Rockies on Aug. 23. He made 15 appearances over the last month of the season pitching to a 0.73 ERA.

35. Braylen Wimmer, SS. Wimmer was selected in the eighth round of the 2023 draft out of South Carolina. In his first full pro season, he showed well at the plate hitting .285/.362/.435 while showing average shortstop defense and a plus arm.

36. Evan Justice, LHP. A deceptive lefthander with good stuff, Justice saw his fastball velocity drop in 2024 in concert with poor results. Justice should see more time out of the Rockies bullpen in 2025 if he can get himself back on track.

37. Lebarron Johnson, RHP. While Johnson was inconsistent over his four seasons at Texas, he shows above-average stuff from a over the top slot. His four-seam fastball shows above-average ride at 93-95 mph with a plus slider with cutter hybrid shape.

38. Roynier Hernandez, SS. Hernandez shows plus bat-to-ball skills and solid approach but makes lots of groundball contact with fringe-average power projection at peak.

39. Sterlin Thompson, OF. A 2022 first-round supplemental pick, Thompson shows solid plate skills with some power but has no defensive position.

40. Zach Agnos, RHP. A former two-way player at East Carolina, Agnos has developed into a reliever with big stuff as a professional.
