Blake Weiman came into Kansas as a tall (6-foot-5) but skinny (175 pounds) lefty. He enters this year's draft as a significantly stronger 210 pounder. As one might expect, his stuff has improved along with his size as the once 86-88 mph fastball now sits 88-92 mph. Weiman has a clean and easy delivery and an improved slider and he dots the strike zone with advanced control.
